GRANITE SURFACE PLATE

SPT metrology is a manufacturer and supplier of granite surface plates of grade 00, Grade 0 as per DIN and IS Standards.
Inspection is carried out with a High Precision Electronic Level (Wyler Swiss - Base Size: 200mm, Sensitivity: 0.001MM/M, Range: 20MM/M)
& Spirit Level (ROECKLE – Germany - L.C.: 0.10mm / M) calibrated by an NABL accredited lab at regular intervals

CAST IRON SURFAE PLATE

We are manufacturing of Cast Iron Surface Plates to Grade 1 accuracy as per IS 2285-2003.We offer wide variety of cast iron surface plate manufactured in compliance with international quality standards. Extensively used for tool making, inspection, spotting, gauging etc., Hardness between 170 to 220 BHN. Stress relieved to relieve internal stresses. Material confirm to IS 210 2009, Grade FG 260.

CAST IRON BENCH CENTRE

Manufactured as per IS: 5980, these cast iron bench centres are utilized in machine shops, tool rooms and standard rooms for checking various parameters such as concentricity , parallelism and true rotation of components.

The bench centres manufactured at our works are made up of close grained cast iron and finished to higher degree of accuracy by hand scrapping.

SURFACE PLATES WITH CENTRE ATTACHMENTS

Granite surface plate with metal inserts and T-Slot can be used as a surface table and a concentricity checking attachment. This equipment can be used as a Precision Inspection Bench Center as well as a Surface Plate with high Grade of accuracy. Material of construction and accuracy parameters as per IS-2285-2003 for CI Surface Plate, IS-7327-2003 Granite Surface Plate and IS-5980 for Center Attachments.

GRANITE SQUARE (TRIANGULAR)

These triangular shaped granite squares are ideal for checking X, Y and Z axes of machine bases or parts. They are very rigid and stable.

The two face master angle has two narrow perpendicular edges finished flat and square.

Three-Face Granite Tri-Squares provide an excellent, economical way for accurately checking the X-Y-Z axes on CNC machine tools and coordinate measuring machines.

GRANITE BLOCK MASTER (SQUARE)

Master squares are ideal for inspecting the X, Y and Z axes of machine tools. Our Granite block masters are very stable and rigid, providing the ultimate in squareness references, square and parallel to Grade–0 accuracy. All faces accurately lapped, opposite sides parallel & adjacent sides perpendicular to each other. Provided with holes for lifting and handling.

GRANITE PARALLELS

These granite parallels are precision lapped to achieve desired accuracy. Granite Parallels are useful in setting up work on surface plates and machine tables. They can also be used to elevate work above the surface of a plate to enable quick and easy inspection of piece parts. Available in matched pairs, finished flat and parallel on two opposite narrow faces or all four faces..

GRANITE COMPARATOR STANDS

Granite comparator stands are precision lapped to grade – 0 accuracy. Heavy duty vertical post and adjustable gaging bracket for maximum stability and durability. Base made from finely lapped Granite, housing made from Cast Iron and Pillar from Ground Steel. Main housing slides over the pillar and can be locked at any position. Fine adjustment in Bench Comparators is possible through auxiliary slides.

CAST IRON COMPARATOR STANDS

Cast Iron Comparator Stands are made of closed grain graded casting and are hand scrapped to achieve accuracy of grade – 1. Cast Iron Universal Comparators having hardened and ground serrated platform provided with lapped ground finish with spiral grooved column, pillar mounted symmetrically allows the dial gauge to be positioned over virtually all points on the base.

ANGLE PLATE

These slotted angle plates are also used as a vertical reference for inspection and tooling purposes.

Our Angle Plate is high quality closed grain cast iron of Grade FG-260, these angle plates comply with IS 2554:1971. SPT Cast Iron Angle Plates are made of high duty close-grained cast iron to IS: 210 Grade 20. Well ribbed, minimizes distortion, artificially seasoned.

BOX ANGLE PLATES

We are manufacturing of Cast Iron Box Angle Plate to Grade 1and Grade 2 accuracy as per IS:2632.
These are basically used for clamping work for tooling, shaping and milling. Box Angle Plates are made of close -grained cast iron IS 210, Grade 20, hardness is guaranteed to be above 180-BHN.T-Slots on working surfaces to facilitate clamping.and dimensions IS 2013:1962.
